Health and Safety…
Star Academy staff have all attended first aid courses and hold the relevant certificates. They will deal with minor cuts, grazes etc. Where heads are bumped a note would usually be sent home. Where more
serious injury occurs we will make every effort to contact you immediately. We do request that parents keep us updated with telephone contacts, as in the event of an emergency only a relative can give permission for a child to be treated by a doctor
or a nurse.
Pupil safety
Parents are expected to help their children observe the following simple but essential rules.
- Jazz shoes must be worn
- Black jogging trousers or jazz pants and a t-shirt should be worn
- Long hair should be tied back
- All jewellery should be removed before lessons commence
